Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Injector Spray Pattern
FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION
1. Check fuel pressure to ensure that it is within specification. Refer to Fuel Pressure.
2. Visually check the injector to ensure that the fuel is injected out in a conical shaped pattern while engine is being cranked.

If no fuel is injected, refer to Computers and Control Systems / Testing and Inspection / Diagnostic Chart A-7.

If fuel is not injected out in a conical shaped pattern, replace the fuel injector.
