Storm L4-1600cc 1.6L SOHC (1990)
Valve Body: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle.
3.
Remove left and right undercovers.
4.
Drain transaxle fluid.
5.
Remove oil pan attaching bolts, then oil pan.
6.
Remove control valve assembly bolts, then control valve assembly.
7.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque control valve assembly bolts to 71 inch lbs.
b. Torque oil pan bolts to 71 inch lbs.
c. Refill transaxle fluid as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/CHANGING FLUID.

Disconnect negative battery cable, then the terminal assembly connector.
2.
Remove the terminal assembly clip.
3.
Raise and support vehicle.
4.
Remove left and right undercovers, then drain the transaxle.
5.
Remove oil pan protector and oil pan.
6.
Remove the fifteen control valve assembly bolts.
7.
Remove control valve and terminal assemblies from transaxle.
8.
Remove terminal valve assembly from control valve assembly.
9.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque Control valve assembly bolts and oil pan bolts to 71 inch lbs.
