Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Disconnect coil to distributor lead at the coil.

Remove ignition coil electrical connector.

Remove the two bolts, ground strap and ignition coil from mounting bracket.
DISCONNECT
-
Install two bolts, ground strap and ignition coil.
-
Tighten mounting bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft lb).
-
Install coil electrical connector.
-
Install coil to distributor lead at the coil.
-
Connect negative battery cable.
