ACCELERATOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT
Accelerator Cable Adjustment
PROCEDURE:
1.
Check accelerator cable for end play.
2.
Cable end play should be within specification when the accelerator pedal is released and the engine is NOT operating.
Accelerator cable end play specification: 10-15 mm (0.4-0.6 in.).
3.
If not within specification, adjust by loosening the lock nut. Torque the lock nut to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) after adjustment is made.
