Throttle Position Sensor Terminal Identification

Connect an Ohmmeter between terminals 1 and 4 of the throttle position sensor connector.

Turn the throttle position sensor fully clockwise and then gradually counterclockwise until the Ohmmeter indicates 12-18 Ohms. In this position,
tighten the throttle position sensor bolts to the specified torque. 3.5 N-m (2.5 ft. lb.).
12.
Reconnect the throttle opener vacuum hose to the VSV.
13.
Connect the throttle position sensor/ECM connector securely.
14.
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
15.
Tighten the idle speed adjusting screw by the number of turns left after the calculations in step 7.
16.
Adjust idle speed according to the procedure in idle speed adjustment.
