Emissions Maintenance Reminder (EMR) Reset Procedure
NOTE: Federal equipped vehicles only have a cancel switch which needs to be reset after the 50,000, 80,000, and 100,000 mile maintenance service is
completed.
Resetting the "MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP" (MIL) after the maintenance service has been performed (Federal Only).
Instrument Panel Wiring

The MIL cancel switch is located behind the instrument panel, attached to the instrument panel next to left speaker.

To reset the switch, move the switch to "OFF."
NOTE: Disconnecting the battery or fuses will NOT reset this light if it is on due to maintenance.

If battery ground cable is disconnected, theft deterrent features may be activated. You may need vehicle security codes to enable radio operation.
Components such as clocks, electronically tuned radios etc., will have to be reset.
