Tracker 4x4 L4-1.6L SOHC TBI (1994)
1. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Fill the pressure tank at least 2/3 full of brake fluid. The bleeder must be bled each time fluid is added.
3. Charge the pressure bleeder to 20 -25 psi.
4. Install master cylinder adapter tool No. J 37762, or equivalent, to reservoir. Install bleeder hose to adapter
5. There is no bleeder valve for the right rear brake. The rear brakes can only be bled through the bleeder valve located on the left rear brake. Bleed
each wheel in the following sequence:
a. Left rear.
b. Right front.
c. Left front.
6. Open bleeder tank valve.
7. Attach a hose to caliper bleeder valve and immerse the opposite end of the hose into a clean suitable container partially filled with clean brake
fluid, Fig. 2.
8. Open bleeder valve at least 3/4 turn and allow fluid to flow until no air is seen in fluid, then close valve.
9. Repeat procedure at each wheel.
10. Check brakes for sponginess. Repeat bleeding procedure if needed.
11. Remove pressure bleeder, adaptors, and tools, then fill reservoir to proper level. Lower vehicle.
