Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments
1.
Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2.
Disconnect Throttle Position Sensor electrical connector.
3.
Loosen TP sensor mounting bolts.
Applying Vacuum To Throttle Opener
4.
Remove throttle opener vacuum hose at throttle opener solenoid vacuum (to SV) valve. Apply 16-20" Hg vacuum to the throttle opener.
Throttle Position Sensor Terminal Identification
5.
Connect an Ohmmeter to TP sensor connector terminal "1" to "4" (TP sensor side). Measure resistance.
