Subject: Power Seat Track Moves/Loose Feeling (Chucking) (Replace Front Lift Link Bolt)

Condition
Some customers may comment that the power front seat track moves or has a loose feeling.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the shoulder of the bolt.
Correction
Replace the front lift link bolt. Follow the procedure below.
1. Measure from the floor to the bottom of the plastic seat front finish panel 79.4 mm (3-1/8 in). If not placed in this position, the seat link lift bolt
cannot be removed.
2. Remove the seat. Refer To Bucket Seat Replacement in SI.
3. Remove the plastic seat trim. Refer to Front Seat Front Finish Panel Replacement in SI.
4. Disengage the J channel retainers from all the sides of the seat cushion frame and lift up the cushion.
