Subject: Doors Unlock Automatically When Vehicle is Shifted into Park (Reprogram BCM)

2007-2010 Saturn OUTLOOK XE Only

This bulletin is being revised to update the model years and the Correction information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin 07-08-64-014 (Section 08 -
Body and Accessories).
Condition
Some customers may comment that when the vehicle is shifted into PARK (P), the doors automatically unlock.
Cause
On these vehicles (base trim models SLE & XE), this is the factory default setting and is not selectable. This condition may not satisfy each particular
customer's personal preference.
Correction
Important
Be sure to select the correct calibration with the description that reads "Choose this calibration to disable Auto Door Unlock (use per customer
request for vehicles without DIC.").
For customers who wish to have the auto door unlock option disabled (all door locks will stay locked when shifted to park), a service calibration is
available. Reprogram the BCM using SPS. Be sure to complete all specific final instructions after programming.
