Parts Information
Parts required to complete this service update are to be obtained from General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO).
Please refer to your "involved vehicles listing" before ordering parts. Normal orders should be placed on a DRO = Daily Replenishment Order. In an
emergency situation, parts should be ordered on a CSO = Customer Special Order.
Service Procedure
Inspect the window regulator operation on the right-hand front door and the right-hand rear door.
Perform a functional test by cycling each right-hand side window to the full-down position and then to the full-up position. Repeat the cycle test two
additional times.
If the window returns to the full-up position during all three cycles, the window regulator does not require replacement. No further action is required.
If the window does not return to the full-up position during any of the three cycles, replace the window regulator assembly with a new replacement part.
