Disconnect speaker electrical connector and remove speaker.

Remove instrument cluster bezel attaching screws, then pull bezel away from cluster and remove headlamp switch attaching screws.

Remove heater and A/C control attaching screws, then pull assembly out from the instrument panel and disconnect electrical connectors, Fig. 12.
9.
Remove steering column filler panel, Fig. 13.
10.
Disconnect shift indicator cable from steering column, then remove retaining nuts from each side of the steering column and lower column.

Loosen clips and bolts from left and right lower bracket mounted studs supporting instrument panel carrier, Fig. 14.
12.
Remove both kick panels and defroster vent.
13.
Remove five upper instrument panel mounting screws and pull panel rearward.

Remove heater nozzle to panel attaching screws, then disconnect any remaining electrical connectors and remove panel.
15.
Reverse procedure to install.
