Parking Brake Release Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the park brake release handle mounting bolt.
2. Remove the park brake release lever handle from the knee bolster.
3. Disconnect the park brake release cable from the park brake lever.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the park brake release cable to the park brake lever.
2. Install the park brake release lever handle to the knee bolster.

NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the park brake release lever handle mounting bolt.

Tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
