Oil Line: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The engine oil cooler is an integral part of the radiator. The oil cooler lines are serviceable.
1. Remove the plastic cap from the connector by pulling back along the pipe.
2. Use a small pick-type tool or screwdriver in order to release I of the open ends of the retaining ring from the connector fitting.
3. Rotate the retaining ring out of position on the connector fitting. Remove the ring completely.
4. Discard the retaining ring clip.
5. Pull outward on the pipe in order to remove the pipe from the connector fitting.
