Accumulator HVAC: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. See: Refrigerant/Service and Repair
2. Disconnect the electrical connection at the pressure cycling switch.
3. Disconnect the evaporator pipe at the accumulator.
4. Disconnect the compressor/condenser hose at the accumulator.
5. Remove the nut at the accumulator/evaporator connection.
6. Remove the accumulator mounting bracket nut.
7. Remove the accumulator.
