Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the grille.
2. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
3. Remove the refrigerant hose from the condenser.

4. Remove the evaporator pipe from the condenser.
5. Remove the power steering cooler from the radiator support brackets.
6. Remove the upper fan shroud.
7. Remove the hood latch support to upper radiator support bolts.
8. Remove the remaining condenser mounting bolts.

9. Remove the condenser mounting bolts.

10. Tilt the top of the hood latch support bracket forward enough in order to slide the condenser out.
