C 1500 Truck 2WD V8-5.3L VIN T (1999)
The BCM sends requests to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to turn the IPC indicators ON or OFF. These requests are sent on the Class 2 serial
data line. If the IPC can not communicate with the BCM via Class 2 the IPC will turn the Security Telltale ON steady. The list of messages sent by
the BCM to the IPC are as follows:

High Beam
EXTERIOR LIGHTING CONTROL
The BCM can turn ON some of the exterior lighting independently of the exterior lighting system. The BCM can command ON the following
exterior lights:

Low Beams and Park Lamps

Daytime Running Lamps
^
Front Fog Lamps
INTERIOR LIGHTING CONTROL
The BCM can turn ON some of the interior lighting independently of the interior lighting system. The BCM can command ON the following
interior lights:

Courtesy lamps.
^
Illuminated entry.
^
Dome lamps
