Fuel Filler Hose Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:  Refer to the Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

Fuel Filler Cap

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Clean all the fuel pipe and hose connections and the surrounding areas before disconnecting in order to avoid possible contamination of the fuel

system.

3. Remove the fuel filler cap.
4. Raise the vehicle.

5. Disconnect the fuel fill hose (3) from the fuel tank.
6. Disconnect the fuel fill hose (3) from the fuel fill pipe.
7. Remove the fuel fill hose and the hose clamps (2, 4).
8. Cap the fuel tank opening.
