Seat Belt Retractor: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Belt Replacement Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Notice:  Refer to Servicing and Replacing Seat Belt Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. 
2. Gently pry off the retractor tower bezel.
3. Remove the seat back trim cover and rear cardboard panel. 

4. Remove the retractor bolt.

5. Remove the seat belt tower.

6. Remove the upper anchor bolt.
