Air Filter Element: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove air cleaner outlet duct.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (4).

3. Loosen the air cleaner housing cover screws (8).
4. Remove the air cleaner housing cover (4).
5. Remove the air filter element (5).
6. Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, or water. Clean or replace the air filter element as required.
