12. Remove the steering wheel inflator module from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the electrical connector and the CPA retainer.
2. Connect the SIR lead wire to the clip on the steering wheel.
3. Connect the SIR lead wire to the clip on the steering wheel inflator module.
4. Install the inflator module:
Press the steering wheel inflator module firmly on the steering wheel in order to engage and latch the four notched pins.
Do not pinch the SIR wires during the installation of the steering wheel inflator module.
5. Enable the SIR system. See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
