C 1500 Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN S (1997)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
2. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
3. Open air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.
4. Remove the mounting bolts which attach the fuel manager/filter to the intake manifold.
5. Remove the wiring harnesses and fuel hoses.
6. Remove the fuel manager/filter by lifting straight up.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the fuel hoses and wiring harnesses.
2. Position fuel manager/filter to intake manifold.
3. Install the wiring harnesses and fuel hoses.
4. Install the fuel manager/filter mounting bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the mounting bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft).
5. Bleed air from fuel manager/filter. Refer to Bleeding Air from Fuel Supply System. See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Service and Repair
6. Install the upper intake manifold cover.
7. Install fuel tank filler cap
