Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair
Valve Lifter Replacement

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the cylinder head(s). Refer to Cylinder Head Replacement.
2. Remove the valve lifter(s), guide bolts (1), and guide(s). Refer to Valve Lifter Removal.
3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Valve Lifters and Guides Clean and Inspect

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the valve lifter(s), guide(s) and guide bolts (1). Refer to Valve Lifter Installation.
2. Install the cylinder head(s). Refer to Cylinder Head Replacement.
