7. Install the seat belt anchor bolt cover.
8. Install the seat back trim.
9. Install the headrests.

10. Install the seat back.
11. Install the latch mounting bolt attaching the retractor bolt anchor to the cushion frame.

Tighten
Tighten to 55 N.m (40 lb ft).

12. Install the latch cover.
13. Manually rotate the center latch to the un-latched position to secure the seat back.
14. Install the seat to the vehicle.

Suburban/Yukon XL

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Manually rotate the center latch to the latched position to release the seat back.
3. Remove the latch cover.
4. Remove the latch mounting bolt attaching the retractor bolt anchor to the cushion frame.
5. Remove the seat back.
6. Remove the head rests.
7. Remove the seat back trim.
8. Remove the retractor mounting bolt.
9. Separate the bottom cushion trim J-strip.

10. Remove the handle mounting bolts.
11. Remove the seatbelt anchor bolt cover.
12. Remove the floor anchor bolt.
13. Remove the buckle attaching bolts.
14. Remove the buckle and latch from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the buckle and latch to the vehicle.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the buckle attaching bolts.

Tighten
Tighten to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

3. Install the handle mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten to 55 N.m (40 lb ft).

4. Connect the bottom cushion trim J-strip.
5. Install the retractor mounting bolt.
