6. Lubricate the stub shaft. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
7. Install the stub shaft onto the slip yoke.
8. Mate the missing tooth in the yoke with the bridged tooth on the splined shaft.
9. Install the propeller shaft (3) onto the rear axle pinion flange (4).
10. Align the reference marks made at removal.
11. Install the yoke retainers (2) and the bolts (1).
Tighten the yoke retainer bolts to 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
12. Install the clamps onto the stub shaft (4) and the slip yoke (1) using J 43218.
13. Lower the vehicle.
