C 1500 Yukon XL 2WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2001)
9. Remove the AIR pipe, if equipped.
10. Remove and discard the AIR pipe gasket, if equipped.
11. Remove the AIR pump pipe bolt at the cylinder head, if equipped.
12. Disconnect the left AIR pipe from the AIR pump pipe, if equipped.
13. Remove the AIR pump pipe, if equipped.
14. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer from the ignition coil electrical connector (2).
15. Disconnect the ignition coil harness electrical connector (2).
16. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector (3).
Important: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire
or the wire could be damaged.
17. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs and ignition coils.
