Engine Oil Filler / Breather Cap: Service and Repair
Oil Fill Tube Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the 2 bolts retaining the engine oil fill tube.
2. Remove the oil fill tube.
3. Remove and discard the oil fill tube seal (O-ring).
Installation Procedure
1. Install a NEW seal (O-ring) on the oil fill tube.
2. Install the oil fill tube.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the oil fill tube bolts.

Tighten the oil fill tube bolts to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
