C 3500 HD Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (2001)
1. Install the retainer to the extension.
2. Install the extension to the door by completing the following steps:
1. Insert the extension onto the trim panel.
2. Align the retainer into the hole in the door.
3. Push the extension until the retainer seats.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door handle bezel.
2. Remove the window regulator handle, as necessary.
3. Disconnect the power accessory switch mounting panel wiring connector, as necessary.
4. Remove the trim panel upper extension.
5. Using a flatblade tool, carefully pry off the trim panel armrest screw cover in order to access the screw.
6. Remove the trim panel armrest screw.
7. Using the J 38778, carefully pry the retainer from the retainer seats.
8. Disconnect the courtesy light connector, if necessary.
9. Remove the trim panel from the door.
10. Remove the courtesy lamp lens or the reflector.
