Important: Ensure that the threads are clean and greaseless before applying threadlocker.
2. Apply 27249 threadlocker to the threads of each brake caliper mounting plate bolt.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the bolts and washers.

Tighten the brake shield (1) bolts to 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the brake caliper mounting plate bolts to 105 Nm (78 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the hub and brake rotor (7) assembly.
5. Install the brake caliper (3).
6. Remove the blocks.
Rear
Brake Caliper Mounting Plate Replacement - Rear
Removal Procedure
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Block the wheels.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
Notice: Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic's wire, or equivalent, whenever it is separated from it's mount and the hydraulic flexible brake
hose is still connected. Failure to support the caliper in this manner will cause the flexible brake hose to bear the weight of the caliper, which may
cause damage to the brake hose and in turn may cause a brake fluid leak.
4. Remove the brake caliper (5).
5. Remove the brake rotor.
6. Remove the bolts and washers.
7. Remove the brake caliper mounting plate (1) from the rear axle.
Inspection Procedure
1. Inspect the support rails for rust, corrosion, and wear.
2. Clean the support rails with a wire brush.
