Fan Shroud: Service and Repair
Fan Shroud - Upper

Fan Shroud Replacement (Upper) 
Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the positive battery cable from the fan shroud.

2. Remove the fan shroud upper bolts.
3. Remove the fan shroud upper to lower bolts.
4. Remove the fan shroud - upper.
5. If necessary, raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
6. Remove the fan shroud lower bolts.
7. Remove the fan shroud - lower.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the fan shroud - lower.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the fan shroud lower bolts.

Tighten the fan shroud bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.). 

3. Lower the vehicle.
