Heater Core: Service and Repair
HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the HVAC module from the vehicle. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair
2. Remove the 7 screws (1) that hold the heater cover (5) to the heater case (2).
3. Remove the heater cover (5).
4. Remove the heater core (4) from the retainer.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the heater core (4) into the retainer.
2. Install the heater cover (5).
3. Install the 7 screws (1) that hold the heater cover (5) to the heater case (2). Replace the seals.
4. Install the HVAC module to the vehicle.
