3. Do not install the new retaining clip onto the fitting by pushing down the clip.
4. Ensure that the three retaining clip ears are seen from inside the fitting and that the retaining clip moves freely in the fitting slots.
5. Install NEW retaining clips into the remaining quick connect fittings, if necessary.
6. If equipped with a 6.5L engine, connect the oil cooler lines to the engine block fittings.
