C 3500 HD Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (2001)
1. Install the evaporator core (7) to the HVAC module.
2. Install the evaporator case cover (8).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the screws to the evaporator case cover (8).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
4. Install the heater core to the HVAC module.
5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Heater/Vent Module Replacement (I).
6. Charge the system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
7. Leak test the fitting(s) of the repaired or reinstalled component using the J 39400-A.
