Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair
Rear
Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle with suitable safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the following parts from the stabilizer links:

The link nut (11)
^
The link bolt (7)
^
The link spacer (9) and insulators (6, 8,10)
3. Inspect the components for wear.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Assemble the following parts. Do not tighten.
1.1.
Install the stabilizer shaft insulators (6,8,10) and spacer (9).
1.2.
Install the link bolt (7) through the stabilizer shaft, insulators (6, 8,10) and spacer (9).
1.3.
Install the link bolt (7) through the frame and install the upper insulator (6).
2. Install the link nut (11).

Tighten the link nut to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
