Oil Filter: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the oil filter from the engine block.
3. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the oil filter to the engine block. Tighten the oil filter per the oil filter manufacturers instruction printed on the oil filter box.
