Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the purge solenoid electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the purge line from the solenoid.
4. Remove the purge solenoid retaining bolts.
5. Remove the purge solenoid from the intake manifold.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the purge solenoid to the intake manifold.
2. Install the purge line onto the solenoid.
3. Install the purge solenoid retaining bolts.
4. Connect the purge solenoid electrical connector.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
