Lower Right
Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement -Lower Right
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the upper right valve rocker arm cover.
2. Disconnect injector wiring harness connectors.
Important: Do not drop the injector harness bolts in the cylinder head oil return ports.
3. Remove the injector harness bracket bolts for both injector harnesses.
4. Remove the encapsulated injector wire terminal nuts on each injector.
5. Remove both injector harnesses.
6. Remove the 12 bolts for the lower valve rocker arm cover.
7. Remove the lower valve rocker arm cover.
8. Remove the gasket from the lower valve rocker arm cover.
9. Remove the bolt grommets from the lower valve rocker arm cover.
