C 3500 Truck 2WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2002)
2. Install the steering gear motor (2) to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the bolts (1) retaining the steering gear motor (2) to the steering gear.

Tighten the 6 mm (0.24 inch) steering gear motor retaining bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

Tighten the 4 mm (0.16 inch) steering gear motor retaining bolts to 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.).
Important: Route the wiring harness in the same location as the wiring was removed.
4. Connect the electrical connectors to the control module (2).
5. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the rear position sensor.
6. Connect the wire harness retaining clips.
