7. Install the remainder of the 12 bolts (8) (two will replace the guide bolts).

Tighten the bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
8. Reinstall drain plug (7) and drain plug seal (6).

Tighten the drain plug to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
9. Lower the vehicle.
Notice: Use only clean and approved transmission fluid.
10. Refill the transmission with DEXRON III Automatic Transmission Fluid.
Important: Remember fluid remains in the external circuits and transmission cavities after draining the transmission.
11. Check the transmission fluid level.
