C 3500 Truck 2WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2002)
1. Apply a thin bead of sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the oil drain and fill plug threads.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the oil drain plug.

Tighten the oil drain plug to 37 Nm (127 ft. lbs.).
3. Fill the transmission to just below the bottom of the fill plug hole.
4. Install the oil fill plug.

Tighten the oil fill plug to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
5. Lower the vehicle.
