Rear Door Window Regulator - Power

Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Power)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the window glass.
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Crew Cab)   (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Replacement/Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Crew Cab)).

3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Crew Cab)   (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Water Deflector/Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Crew Cab)).

4. Disconnect the window motor electrical connector.
5. Loosen the 2 window clamp bolts on the regulator.
6. Remove the bolts retaining the window regulator to the door.

7. Remove the module from the door.
8. Remove the window regulator motor. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement   (See: Power Window Motor/Rear Door

Window Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the window regulator motor. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement   (See: Power Window Motor/Rear Door

Window Motor/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement).

2. Install the module to the door.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).

3. Install the bolts retaining the regulator to the door.

Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

4. Align the window to the regulator, and tighten the clamp bolts.

Tighten the clamp bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

5. Connect the window motor electrical connector.
6. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Crew Cab)   (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Water Deflector/Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Crew Cab)).
