C 3500 Truck 2WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2001)
1. Lubricate and install the new O-ring seal with power steering fluid.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the power steering fitting and actuator (1) to the pump.

Tighten the power steering solenoid actuator to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
Important: If a new power steering solenoid actuator (1) is being installed, position the electrical connector before installing the retaining ring
(2).
3. Install the electrical connector to the power steering solenoid actuator.
4. Install the retaining ring (2) to the actuator (1).
5. Install the power steering pump (1) to the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
