Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

CRANKSHAFT BALANCER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Tools Required
-

J 23523-F Crankshaft Balancer Remover

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the fan shroud assembly. See: Cooling System/Fan Shroud/Service and Repair
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Remove the crankshaft balancer. See:  
5. Clean and inspect all parts.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Tools Required
-

J 39046 Crankshaft Balancer Installer

1. Install the crankshaft balancer.
2. Install the drive belt.
3. Install the fan shroud assembly.
4. Connect the battery negative cable.
