Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution (See: Service Precautions/Technician Safety Information/Brake Fluid Irritant Caution) .
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair) .
Important: Inspect the condition of the retaining clip. If the retaining clip is flatten or damaged, discard and replace with new.
2. Remove the retaining clip from the mounting bracket.
3. Using a backup wrench, remove the brake line from the brake hose.
