13. Using the J 37043  (1), remove the park brake cable from the backing plate.

14. Remove the park brake cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the park brake cable into the backing plate.
2. Install the rear brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement  (See: Drum Brake System/Brake Shoe/Service and Repair) .
