Suction Hose Replacement

Suction Hose Replacement (LLV - 2.9L, LLR - 3.7L)

Tools Required

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

Removal Procedure

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Non HP2)  (See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and

Recharging (Non HP2)) .

2. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement  (See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair) .

3. Remove the suction hose mounting bolt (1) from the A/C compressor (7). 
4. Remove the suction hose (2) from the A/C compressor.
