Canyon 2WD L5-3.5L VIN 6 (2004)
1. Align the reference marks on the propeller shaft to the transmission.
2. Install the propeller shaft in the transmission.
3. Install the center bearing to the crossmember.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the center bearing mounting bolts.

Tighten the center bearing mounting bolts to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
5. Rotate the propeller shaft so that the alignment marks and the pinion yoke are in alignment.
6. Remove the tape and or rubber band.
7. Position the U-Joint in the pinion yoke.
8. Install the clamps and retaining bolts.

Tighten the retaining clamp bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
9. Double check the alignment marks to ensure that they are aligned properly
10. Lower the vehicle.
