Condition
Some customers may comment that the driver or passenger side door glass is inoperative, has a binding condition or a rattling noise.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the side door glass window regulator mounting bolts loosening.
Correction
Important
Do not replace the door window regulator.
Use the following procedure to correct the condition.
1. Remove the front side door trim panel on the affected side. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in SI.
2. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement in SI.
3. Partially lower the side door glass on the affected door to relieve tension on the door glass regulator and to expose the bolts retaining the front
door window to the window regulator.
