Condition
General Motors has decided that certain 2004 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
101 and 108. In these vehicles, the body control module (BCM) was programmed incorrectly. The program that was installed resulted in an odometer
reading that indicates miles instead of kilometers. It also allowed the daytime running lamps (DRL) to be manually turned off.
Correction
Dealers are to inspect for the correct calibration and reprogram the BCM, if required.

Involved are certain 2004 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles built within the VIN breakpoints shown.
