There may be a lack of sealer under the "A" pillar reveal molding push nuts. Refer to the illustration above.
Cause 4
The push-in retainers at the base of the auxiliary weatherstrip may not be seated fully. Refer to the illustration above.
Cause 5
There may be a gap between the many pieces of sheet metal under the primary seal flange. If this is present, water may enter under the primary seal
retainer and into the vehicle between the gaps in the sheet metal flange and end up under the carpet. Refer to the illustration above.
